Escape the everyday on our half-day Myall Lakes Escape Tour in the beautiful Myall Lakes National Park. Explore one of the largest coastal lake systems in Australia while paddling one of our stable and comfortable touring kayaks. Paddle past abundant bird-life and experience the natural beauty of the lakes, mountains and forests. Learn about the history of the area and enjoy a delicious morning tea. All equipment is provided and you’ll be accompanied by one of our friendly, local kayak guides.

Things To Bring

  • Clothes you don’t mind getting splashed

  • Shoes you don’t mind getting wet and that will stay on in the water (thongs or flip flops not recommended)

  • Hat and sunscreen

  • A bottle of water

  • A rain jacket if it looks like rain

  • A fleece jumper if it’s cold

Location - Mungo Brush Campground, Mungo Brush Road, Myall Lakes National Park. 75 minutes north of Newcastle. 80 minutes north of Nelson Bay. 60 minutes south of Forster. 3hrs north of Sydney. 

Conditions

  • Children under 14 must paddle in a double with an adult
  • Life jacket (PFD) must be worn at all time while in kayaks
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
  • We require a minimum of 2 participants for this tour to be able to run. If booking for 1 person please call 0412832220 during business hours to check availability and book.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 24 hours notice: bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled. Customers receive a full refund including booking fee if cancelled.

  • Less than 24 hours notice: no refund for cancellation, but the booking may be rescheduled.

  • No shows: no refund or reschedule.

Lazy Paddles reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour or hire due to adverse weather conditions, minimum participant numbers not being met, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Tours or hires cancelled by Lazy Paddles can either be rescheduled or fully refunded (including booking fees).

Lazy Paddles tours require at least 2 participants to be able to run. If you have booked for 1 person your tour may be cancelled if there are no other participants. Lazy Paddles will contact you if the tour is cancelled.
